During the search for my family cruise I looked at the Carnival Vista every day. Then something spectacular came about with MSC, they had a new ship, the MSC Seaside being built that would challenge the Vista completely. I looked that ship up and immediately became attached. This is the most diverse cruise line and that I appreciated that the most. Not to mention the rates weren’t too bad either. Kids really sail FREE. That was amazing! Due to the Seaside’s large stature, there was limited movement and I didn’t hear not one guest complain about motion sickness.
This summer, my family and I departed on the 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise with Carnival. We were very excited for this cruise, since it was my son’s first one and it had been a long time since I last went on a cruise. Because the port of embarkation was in Galveston, we were glad that we only needed to drive an hour to get to our cruise ship.
Mesmerizing beaches and the carefree charm makes Caribbean cruises are one of the most popular vacations for great memories and relaxation. There is so much to do while you’re at sea on a cruise, like enjoying live entertainment, gourmet cuisine and island-inspired activities, all while never losing sight of the boundless ocean.

This summer, I took the 7 night Royal Caribbean Western Caribbean cruise with my 7 year old son and my husband. We were so excited to have fun and relax! We were so happy that it started in Galveston, which is just an hour drive from our house.
