This was my first cruise with Royal Caribbean and I can honestly say they live up to all of the positive reviews. My family and I took the Western Caribbean with Royal Caribbean Cruise out of Galveston Texas on March 10, 2019, which stopped in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Falmouth, Jamaica. It was an amazing trip that we will remember forever.
I embarked on a 5-day adventure with Princess Cruise line, our destination was a new horizon. I did a 7-day trip around the Western Caribbean with Princess that began and ended in Fort Lauderdale. It was a 3-day at sea and four amazing days at spectacular destinations. Our first day was at sea since we had to set out to sea. We were able to explore the ship with multiple activities at our disposal.
During the search for my family cruise I looked at the Carnival Vista every day. Then something spectacular came about with MSC, they had a new ship, the MSC Seaside being built that would challenge the Vista completely. I looked that ship up and immediately became attached. This is the most diverse cruise line and that I appreciated that the most. Not to mention the rates weren’t too bad either. Kids really sail FREE. That was amazing! Due to the Seaside’s large stature, there was limited movement and I didn’t hear not one guest complain about motion sickness.
This summer, my family and I departed on the 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise with Carnival. We were very excited for this cruise, since it was my son’s first one and it had been a long time since I last went on a cruise. Because the port of embarkation was in Galveston, we were glad that we only needed to drive an hour to get to our cruise ship.
