Celebrity Plans New Ship For 2018

Travelers love cruising with Celebrity Cruises because of the luxurious accommodations, extraordinary destinations and stunning design. Celebrity cruises to over 270 destinations, from castles in Europe, to ancient civilizations in Asia and everything in between. In the next few years, the Celebrity family of ships is expanding.

Celebrity Edge is the first of four new luxury cruise ships that Celebrity will debut under its new Project Edge. Making its introduction in the fall of 2018, this is the first new ship Celebrity has welcomed to their fleet since 2008.

Catering to a mere 2,900 guests, the cruise line promises it will change the way travelers see the world because it will have “small ship itineraries with large ship amenities”. Travelers will be able to reserve their spot aboard the brand new ship on March 13 with

All of the Project Edge ships are being built in France and will feature iconic architecture and stylish design, brought together by a team of world class architects, interior designers and landscape artists.

The next ship to look forward to is the Celebrity Beyond in spring 2020. Two additional Edge Class ships will be introduced in fall 2021 and fall 2022.

The ship’s names are a perfect representation of how Celebrity Cruises is looking into the future. Similar to all Celebrity luxury cruise ships, the new ships will be on the cutting edge of innovation and the leading edge of design.
